In early June, after viewing 15 homes on real estate websites, we emailed seven agents. The first and only call we received that evening was from Mary Blinkhorn. She called within 10 minutes. By the time we hung up we had a date and time to view the houses I was interested in, followed up by confirmation the houses were available for our dates and times. Everything we needed was emailed outlining addresses, dates, and times. Each MLS Listing was handed to us and reviewed. We had many questions and Mary always answered (any time of day) or researched and relayed within an hour. When we found the home we wanted, that's when Mary really shone. She is meticulous, organized and persistent, all traits you need in an agent who goes to bat for you. Whenever there was information that didn't sound quite right, Mary got it worked out. She is a seasoned RE Agent and when you have her on your team, you have at least 2 other types of RE disciplines working for you. As things normally happen, we hit snags with the sellers, insurance, roofers, appraiser, etc. Mary quickly addressed each one, keeping the buying process moving. She worked closely with our lender, insurance broker and title company, all the while keeping us in the loop. All of them told me they truly enjoyed working with Mary and hope to work with her again. Amy was absolutely amazing to work with, from the initial meeting to the final sale. She explained the recent changes in the market, showed me comps in my neighborhood, and together we were able to come up with a fair and amicable price. The house sold in 3 days! I was thrilled. And then came 2 back to back hurricanes! As I was falling apart after the storms, Amy was my calm. She assured me things would get back on track. Amy was very professional, knowledgeable and extremely responsive. I wouldn’t have been able to find a house and get through the process as a first time buyer without her. She helped me every step of the way. Amy doesn’t let you get hung up on the small things that don’t matter, but she always gave me the time of day on the little things that mattered to me and works incredibly hard on the big things that do matter. Mary Blinkhorn was a joy to work with!! She clearly loves what she does. Communication is definitely a very strong point for her. She has systems in place to communicate whenever the property was being shown and then share any feedback she gathered as a result of the showing by her or another agent. We were selling a rather unique property and she researched carefully how to present the property and gave us excellent advice on how to list and market the condo. We are first-time home buyers, and this was our second attempt to find a home in the St. Pete/Tampa Bay area. Mary Blinkhorn is the agent you need to navigate the buying process.
